Hi, I'm Emy Tejeda. I am a beautician who has been in the cosmetic industry for 16 years. I am the founder and owner of Slay Makeup Studio right in the heart of Humboldt county. I have traveled far and wide for my client's special day!

I started my career at Fredrick and Charles Beauty College here in Eureka. I have continued my skill set and I've acquired many more certifications from schools throughout the country. From Daria Chuprys Permanent Makeup in Beverly Hills to Nouveau Contour in Florida. I have so much love and passion for what I do!

Since I was a young woman I have always had an eye for beauty. In 2014, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I've fought hard to put myself back together, to find beauty again, and to finally beat cancer! And now I am helping other people feel like themselves again too. I have the passion to see everyone's natural and inner beauty.

Makeup is a tool to extenuate our best features, it is an extension of how we feel. It is a chance to be treated, pampered, and appreciated. When I come to work, I get to remind my clients to take a moment out of their busy lives to appreciate and enjoy themselves.
